It follows after their highly acclaimed eighth studio album Melodies Of Atonement (2024, see review), which was released last year. All the twenty-one tracks were recorded in one of the best venues of Europe, the 013 Pop podium in Tilburg (NL). An Evening Of Atonement is a spectacular, career-spanning - featuring songs of all eight studio albums- live performance of a band playing at their level best indeed. So, check out the immaculate vocals of Solberg (high falsetto included...), and the versatile, impactful, and "raw" sound of one of the best European prog metal bands of this era. Starting this amazing gig with Silently Walking Alone from their last album, until the outro of The Sky Is Red from their great album Pitfalls (2019, see review) it is all musical bliss indeed. This is truly a triumphant live album with Leprous playing at full force throughout the twenty-one songs indeed. Spectacular highlights, at least for me are: Forced Entry from Leprous's second studio album Bilateral (2011, see review), Distant Bells from Pittfalls, On Hold from Aphelion (2021, see review), Slave from The Congregation (2015, see review) and Unfree My Soul from their last album.
