Spheric Music presents the new compilation CD Keep On Dreaming - A Tribute To Tangerine Dream, the pioneers of the Berlin School of electronic music. TD are honoured on this CD for the many innovative and inspiring ideas (mainly in the 1970s and 1980s) they left behind for listeners and musicians. The CD Keep On Dreaming presents previously unreleased tracks by French and German musicians who keep the spirit of Tangerine Dream. As you can hear, each musician has found their own way of expressing themselves with synthesizers, sequencers and electronic sound generators. What unites them all is their fascination with Tangerine Dream. Just like Tangerine Dream, all of the musicians involved create their own dream world 'Keep On Dreaming'. It is a special honour that Johannes Schmoelling, former member of Tangerine Dream, has enriched the compilation CD with a special track. Johannes Schmoelling comments: 'Since my participation in Synthfest France in 2017 the encounters I had with French musicians at that time have developed into genuine friendships that continue to this day. A musical collaboration such as this CD is therefore only logical. I am all the more delighted that this project is dedicated to the band Tangerine Dream, as I was a member of this band for many years.'

Listening to this tribute to Tangerine Dream I am very pleased with the high level of the 9 electronic music tracks, often sounding as 80s Tangerine Dream (like Axess, Olivier Briand, Lambert and Kryfels) featuring wonderful work with the sequencer, a strong Tangerine Dream element. My highlights.

Dreamy and spacey atmosphere, then pulsating sequencing, the sound is between Tangerine Dream and JM Jarre in Pilot Light by Peter Mergener.

An intro with vocoder, then sequencing and slow synthesizer flights (also pitchbend driven), vocoder and Mellotron flute in Aldebran by Lionel Palierne (the most dynamic and varied track).

A wonderful 80s Tangerine Dream atmosphere, and in the end an exciting synthesizer solo in The Prophecy Of 23 (Zedamanis) by Jiannis.

And finally Johannes Schmoelling with Icewalk (Remix 2025) from the albumWhite Out (1990). First sound effects, then a slow beat, embellished with piano and spacey synthesizer runs. Halfway the atmosphere becomes more dynamic featuring a very pleasant 80s Tangerine Dream climate with a lush synthesizer sound.
