Karma's Lab is a four-piece alternative rock band from Heerhugowaard, The Netherlands. They started off their activities in the summer of 2010 and now they released their eponymous mini album containing five tracks. From the first second of November until the last note on Broken,  I was caught in Karma's Lab web. What a magnificent band this is causing goosebumps all over!

The content of this CD is exactly what I like to hear: five well-written and well-arranged songs with beautiful laid back polyphonic Pink Floyd-like vocals, fantastic rock riffs, great guitar solos and amazing drum work. Moreover, the production of this album is splendid. According to the band members they were inspired by Porcupine Tree, Radiohead and A Perfect Circle, but I think the music is more reminiscent of Amplifier, that awesome British independent rock band from Manchester.

I'm certainly not the only one who's excited about Karma's Lab. While searching on the internet I'll find out that their star is rising quickly. They even made it to the finale of De Grote Prijs Van Nederland 2012, which is a talent show for rock groups, and they have already been broadcasted on the national radio stations. Maybe next year they perform on the famous Lowlands Festival. Who knows? They've got all the potentials anyway. But please beware! Choose your path consciously and prudently, because we all know what happened to most of the Dutch bands that won finales...
