Murmurations is the second album, in fact this one is an EP, of the Dutch prog/psychedelic blues rock band Heath. On this new EP you can listen to a very weird song called Exordium In D Minor; a slow, avant garde track, featuring vocals and "guitar", followed by two long, epic songs that have obvious influences of The Allman Brothers Band, Grateful Dead and The Red devils.

The first epic song is the title track which clocks in over fifteen minutes, and it is a psychedelic song, with blues rock features and musical influences from Focus and Pink Floyd. Murmurations is a song that has to grow on you, when you first hear it you will probably think, what the heck....,but after a couple of spins you will hear the different musical layers and the emotion in the song will grab you for sure.

Finally, this EP ends with another epic song, called Nosedive, and this track is very intense; a true psychedelic mod tempo prog track which leaves you flabbergasted when it is over after almost sixteen minutes.

This new EP by Heath is a must have for fans of psychedelic, experimental prog rock, and of course you must play it LOUD, or even better listen to Murmurations on your headphone; musical bliss guaranteed indeed!
