Whispers Between Worlds (2024, see review) was the debut album of American "reli"- prog rock band Echoverse and Fall Towards The Sky is the sophomore album of this Christian influenced rock band, featuring ten new tracks in the veins of Neal Morse (Band), Kansas, and Spock's Beard.

Let me start with the best track of the album - at least for me - called The Serpent And The Schism, clocking in over nine minutes, this song kicks off with two minutes of heavy, hard hitting guitar riffing, further evolving into a melodic classic rock track with amazing strong guitar breaks and solos! Opening track Radical Rebirth and follow up Philosophy Abounds (both rather "weird" titles, by the by...) feature gutsy and inventive guitar work galore, while 10 Plagues, opening with a Charles Heston voice lyrically deals with Mozes in Egypt, while the music is again up tempo and catchy indeed.

Fall Towards The Sky, being the title track of course is also a 100% BIG song on this album while Here Today, Then A Mist (the bonus track) is a beautiful laid-back track. Of course, Echoverse also brings us the obligatory ballad, which is called Gold Bars, a "sweet," not too sweet or corny song, but definitely the least impressive song of Echoverse's second album.

Overall, Fall Towards The Sky is highly recommendable for fans of the first Echoverse album, but also for fans/lovers of melodic Christian-influenced, impeccably played prog rock music; so, check it out indeed!!

Listening tip: Radical Rebirth.
