Bob Saliba is a French guitarist, singer/songwriter and producer and Testimony was originally released in December 2025 and contains thirteen tracks. Testimony is dedicated to Saliba's son, and his musical style is a mix of fusion, hard rock, and power prog metal. Testimony opens with the soft intro song Our Home, but it is followed by the "heavier" track called Dark Lands and the leading single of the album Ride The Quasar, which is a melodic power metal song, reminding me of Bonfire, Symphony X and even Kamelot. The rest of the songs more or less sound rather the same, however the epic Through The Solar Winds stands out due to the blistering guitar lines from Saliba. Albert is an acoustic superfluous song, while Black Witch is a 100% power metal track. Final Lullaby ends this album, which is definitely worth listening to, but I think that in this particular music genre there are far better albums to enjoy than Testimony. But you must find out that for yourself.... *** Martien Koolen (edited by Tracy van Os van den Abeelen) Where to buy? |
