Double Egg... is the second of three CD-singles by the British Antique Seeking Nuns. The music on this CD isn’t half as goofy as you would expect from its title and the group performing on it. In fact, it’s rather nice straightforward rock music, a bit towards the regular, but not the jamming music of Umphrey’s McGee, but with overtones from Frank Zappa and fellow-Britains Hatfield And The North. Listening to this record takes about as long as preparing and eating a breakfast at home, which is about twenty minutes. Yeah, this is a CD-single and it does leave you wanting more, especially the two last, instrumental tracks. However, as the Antique Seeking Nuns were a project that will be all there is. It’s a shame!
