The Raging Project emerged from the Project Rage - being the electro-metal duo Ivan Jacquin and Lionel Fevre - conceived in 2007 and their Future Days album is released again, consisting of twelve tracks (two bonus tracks), which are fully rearranged, composed, produced, and re-recorded by Ivan Jacquin.

The Raging Projects features no less than fifteen guest musicians, among others Amanda Lehmann, Leo Margarit (Pain Of Salvation) and keyboard workaholic Derek Sherinian. The music is a blend of hard rock, heavy metal, electro rock and prog rock, just listen to a song like Rage! and you will catch my drift as it features a very cool keyboard sound, pounding drums and the screaming voice of Ivan Jacquin adds that extra aggressive layer; check out the end of this song, featuring an insane rage rap break! Follow up Don't Want is a pure metal song, with screaming vocals and soaring guitar solos indeed. Colère, with French lyrics, is also rather heavy with metal guitar riffs and again screaming, angry vocals, which tend to get on my bloody nerves a bit.... Amanda Lehmann sings and plays the guitar in Even If I Bleed and for me this is one of the highlights of this album, but the best is yet to come as The Raging Project's (read Ivan Jacquin) epic track On Earth blasts through your speakers.
Keyboards wizard Derek Sherinian plays a significant role in this amazing song, packed with groovy rhythms, emotional guitar passages and melodies; and as this song progresses it is clear that this is a prog rock song indeed. The album ends with two bonus tracks. This are Wrath, the English version of Colère, and Même Si Je Saigne, the French version of Even if I Bleed!

Future Days is an album not only for metal heads indeed, as you can hear and enjoy rock, metal, ambient, dance rock, prog rock, prog metal and even some pop musical elements. So, give it a try and hopefully you will be surprised by this full of rage album and of course play it LOUD and your neighbours will cherish you forever....
